Lynch-Bages is a wine of tremendous concentration and depth, often showcasing a hedonistic character that makes it enjoyable in youth, yet structured enough to evolve for decades.

• Nose: An intense and complex bouquet of ripe blackcurrant, black cherry, graphite, cedar, and sweet tobacco, often with hints of mint and spice.
• Palate: Full-bodied and muscular, with an imposing structure of ripe, chewy tannins. The mid-palate is layered and deep, leading to an extremely long, persistent finish marked by notes of licorice and smoke.
• Cellaring: This wine is built to last, with top vintages developing superb complexity and a silky texture for 20-50 years.
