The Caillou Blanc is the exclusive dry white wine from the famed Château Talbot, a Fourth Growth Classified Estate in Saint-Julien. Representing one of the oldest white wine traditions in the Médoc, this cuvée is a testament to the Cordier family’s commitment to excellence. It is crafted from a privileged plot of fine gravel soils, resulting in a powerful and age-worthy Bordeaux Blanc.

Tasting Profile & Vinification

• Color: Brilliant pale gold with subtle greenish hues.
• Nose: Highly aromatic, opening with vibrant citrus (lime, grapefruit) and white flower notes, beautifully interwoven with sophisticated hints of toasted brioche and oak spice from barrel aging.
• Palate: The attack is crisp and full-bodied. The mid-palate is rich and textured-a luxurious balance between the characteristic tension of Sauvignon Blanc (80%) and the creamy depth of Sémillon (20%). It finishes long, fresh, and mineral-driven.

This is a serious, gastronomic white wine. Serve chilled (50-54°F) to fully appreciate its complexity, ideally with rich seafood or poultry.
