The Bibi Graetz Testamatta Rosso, translating to ‘Crazy Head’, is the visionary flagship wine of winemaker and artist Bibi Graetz. Rejecting traditional DOCG constraints, this 100% Sangiovese is a pure expression of high-altitude Tuscan terroir, sourced from some of the region’s oldest vineyards (up to 80 years old). It stands as a benchmark for the modern, elegant Super Tuscan movement, prized by collectors globally for its intensity and finesse.

Tasting Notes

• Color: A brilliant, translucent ruby-purple hue.
• Nose: Elegant and layered, offering vibrant aromas of sour cherry, black raspberry, candied citrus peel, and a distinct floral lift of violet, mint, and subtle sweet spice from the old oak barriques.
• Palate: Medium-bodied yet powerful. The structure is defined by remarkably fresh, high-toned acidity and ultra-fine, chalky tannins. It delivers incredible purity and minerality, culminating in a long, persistent finish that screams Sangiovese elegance.
