This micro-estate, led by the acclaimed Catherine Papon-Nouvel, is a true Right Bank rarity, featuring an exceptional dominance of Cabernet Franc (often 80% or more). This unique blend delivers a singular personality marked by freshness and vertical structure.

The Estate & Winemaking Excellence

Certified Organic, the Château embodies a philosophy of precision viticulture and respect for the land. The old vines, averaging 70 years, are rooted in deep clay and gravel soils, situated next to some of the most famous Premiers Grands Crus Classés. Aging is carried out in 100% new French oak barrels for approximately 18 months, ensuring profound complexity and age-worthiness.

Tasting Notes

• Color: Deep garnet, with dark, intense reflections.
• Nose: Complex and highly aromatic, featuring intense blackberry, black cherry, violet, and graphite notes, evolving into fresh tobacco and mint-the signature of great Cabernet Franc.
• Palate: Powerful yet silky on entry. The tannic structure is tight and elegant, offering a sense of lift and verticality. The finish is long, mineral-driven, and persistent, with a distinctive saline accent.

This age-worthy wine requires careful service. We recommend decanting for 1.5 to 2 hours when young. Serve at 62°F (16°C).
