The DOM. THUNEVIN – CALVET LES DENTELLES is a luxury collaboration between Bordeaux’s ‘Bad Boy’ Jean-Luc Thunevin and Roussillon vigneron Jean-Roger Calvet. This Côtes du Roussillon Villages is a testament to the region’s potential, crafted from low-yielding, old vines (40 to over 100 years old) grown on schist soils near Maury. The result is a wine of incredible concentration and depth.

Tasting Profile (Recent Vintage)

• Color: Deep, intense, and inky purple.
• Nose: Explodes with jammy black fruit (blackberry, plum), layered with black pepper, licorice, and well-integrated oak notes of vanilla and cocoa.
• Palate: Full-bodied and powerful, delivering a ‘sun-drenched’ intensity that is perfectly balanced by velvety, fine tannins. The finish is long, complex, and surprisingly fresh, hinting at the schist terroir.

Serving & Pairing for the American Palate

This is a serious, cellar-worthy red (15% ABV). Decant for at least one hour before serving to fully unlock its bouquet. Serve at 60°F (15°C).
